We have compiled a list of our most Frequently Asked Questions below which we hope will be helpful.
Q: How can I book my preview of the new MiFit gym?
A: Just click on the Enquire button and one of our staff will call you to arrange a time to suit.
Q: Does it take long to register?
A: About 30 seconds! You'll be asked for your name, email address and a contact number. One of our friendly MiFit staff will get back to you and we just take it from there.
Q: What is an activation fee?
A: The activation fee is only charged once when joining! This fee includes all administration set up costs and your membership key.
Q: Is there a charge for lost membership keys?
A: Yes, there will be a charge of £10 for a replacement key.
Q: I can't believe what fantastic value MiFit offers compared to other gyms, what is the catch?
A: There actually is no catch!
Q: What happens when I have joined?
A: You will be greeted at your MiFit gym by one of our friendly staff members. We will make you feel right at home and get you started on the road to achieving your personal goals.
Q: I would prefer to wait until MiFit opens, so could I join then?
A: Of course but remember we have limited spaces. Our advice would be to get in touch and arrange a FREE visit. You will then be in the best position to decide if MiFit is for you.
Q: What does 'no contract' mean?
A: You are not contractually tied to us for any specified period; you can cancel at any time.
Q: Will there be someone to show me how to use the equipment?
A: Yes, our friendly staff will be on hand to help you get the most from your MiFit membership and we provide all new members with an induction when we will show you how to operate the equipment.
Q: Will I be given an exercise programme?
A: Yes, our aim at MiFit is to help you achieve your personal goals and we will provide you with a programme to suit you.
Q: How do I track my progress?
A: At MiFit we provide you with tools that let you monitor how you are progressing towards your goals, where you are going right and where you can improve.
Q: How can I get motivated?
A: A good way is to let other people help and encourage you. You can set yourself goals for the short term (daily and weekly) and longer term (up to a year away). You can work up towards a big event and help raise money for a good cause. Click on MiFit Goals for more help.
Q: Are there changing facilities in The Gym?
A: Yes, we provide showers, lockers and toilets.
Q: How old do I have to be to join Mifit?
A: The minimum age requirement is 16 years of age.
Q: What date does my Direct Debit get taken from my account?
A: All Direct Debits will be debited from your account on or around the 7th of each month.
Q: If I join one mifit club am I restricted to only using that club?
A: No, if you are a member of one mifit you are a member of ALL.
Q: Do you offer a peak or off peak membership?
A: No, if you are a member of mifit you have full use of the facilities anytime when the club is opened.
Q: Are lockers provided Free?
A: Yes lockers are provided for you at no extra charge.
Q: Will personal training be available?
A: Yes, this will be available. Just ask one of our staff for more details on how to book.

A: Yes. At MiFit we are committed to protecting your personal data. You can read more on this in our Privacy Policy.
Q: What is the Emergency Contact?
A: This is a person nominated by you, who may be contacted to assist you in the event of any accident or emergency while in a MiFit gym.
Q: What is a pro rata?
A: A Pro rata will be calculated from the day you join to the end of the current month. If you join between the 1st & 15th of the month you will pay for the remaining part of the current month and your DD will be debited the following month. If you join between the 16th and the end of the month you will pay the remaining part of the month, plus the following month and then your DD will be debited the following month after.
All pro rata's for new clubs will be calculated from the day the club is due to open.
Q: Can I defer my start date?
A: No, all memberships will be instantly live from the day you join.
Q: Is there a maximum time that I am allowed in the gym for?
A: No, you can stay all day if you wish!
Q: Do you offer family memberships?
A: No, because of the great price we only offer individual memberships.
Q: Are there catering facilities?
A: Yes there will be a vending machine available to purchase a selection of drinks at each club.
Q: Do you offer guest day passes?
A: No, because of the great price we do not offer guest day passes.
Q: Can I put my membership on hold?
A: No.
Q: If I leave and then re-join will I be charged an activation fee again?
A: Yes.
Q: Can I change the date of when my Direct Debit will be collected?
A: No, All Direct Debits will be debited from your account on or around the 7th of each month.
Q: What are the opening times?
A: The opening times are:
Mon - Thurs : 6.30am – 10pm
Fri : 6.30am – 8pm
Sat - Sun : 8am – 6pm
Bank Holiday's : 8am – 5pm
